Future has brought together a heavyweight lineup for “Ya Hit,” a new track featuring Drake, Travis Scott and Florida rapper Loe Shimmy. The song is the first official release from Future’s forthcoming album, although full project details have not yet been announced.
A major collaboration
The track brings Future and Drake together again, while also marking their latest collaboration with Travis Scott. Production is credited to ATL Jacob, with Sexyy Red contributing ad-libs, according to Pitchfork’s November 6 report.
Details about the album—including its title and release date—remain limited. Future has recently teased more activity on social media, but no complete rollout schedule has been confirmed.
The Shade Wire takeaway
With three established names sharing the record and Loe Shimmy in the mix, “Ya Hit” is an early talking point for rap fans heading into the weekend. The bigger question is whether this is the start of a full Future album rollout.
